PROFILE OF THE RESORT
Fridays Boracay is a AAA accredited, self contained 40 native cottage-style rooms resort. We have a freshwater swimming pool, a beachfront bar, and a 120-seat capacity restaurant considered by many to be the finest in the island.
The rooms are in a garden setting arranged around a beach courtyard and the swimming pool. All rooms are distinctly native with Filipino styling – quaint yet with modern conveniences like split-type airconditioning, hot & cold potable water, DVDs, cable TV, IDD & NDD telephone, fully stocked mini bar, deluxe guestroom amenities, abaca slippers, evening turn-down services, native hammocks, individual Electronic Safety Deposit Box, and private verandah.
In 1982, the first two cottages of Fridays Boracay were built. The name “Fridays” comes from the story of Robinson Crusoe. Robinson was shipwrecked on a lost island and was surprised to meet a native young boy whom he named Friday after becoming his constant companion.

THINGS TO REMEMBER
THINGS TO REMEMBER
1. Should you intend to stay in Manila before or after your trip to Boracay, we will arrange your room booking with either of the following hotels: in Makati – The Peninsula Hotel, Hotel Celeste and Mandarin Hotel; and in Manila – Hotel Sofitel (formerly Westin Philippine Plaza).
2. For transfers from the Manila International Airport to Manila Domestic Airport or hotel of your choice, We recommend that you proceed to the car rental kiosk or you can arrange your transfer with your travel agent. In any case, we suggest you use only accredited transportation services.
3. Philippine transacts in pesos (PHP). However, US dollars are accepted as well. We recommend that you change your money to dollars and mostly to pesos. Cash dispensers, ATMs or bancomats are available in Manila and in Boracay. Should there be a problem with the ATM’s and bancomats, look for currency exchange kiosks or change your money at Fridays’ reception. Fridays accepts major credit cards and US dollars as payments.
4. Be in Manila Domestic Airport two hours before departure time. You will need to present your passport if you are not a Filipino citizen or any form of identification (driver’s license, company ID or SSS) for Filipinos.
5. Take note that flights from Manila to Caticlan (Boracay) allow 10 kilos maximum of baggage only. In excess, a corresponding amount per kilo will be charged.
6. Before your flight, please coordinate with the Domestic Airport of any new security measures that they are implementing.
7. Should you arrive on a “habagat” or monsoon season, our transfer officer will bring you to the public jetty port in Tabon via van, then to the back of the island at Fairways on a 20-minute boat ride, then a final 10 minute van ride to the resort.
8. The Local Government of Malay is charging all incoming tourists in Boracay an environmental fee of P50 per person. This fee is subject to change without prior notice. Likewise, other minor fees may be collected as imposed by the local government. We advise that you bring small bills in Philippine pesos for these fees.

My wife and I (and 8 year old child) have just got back after staying 8 nights at this wonderful, wonderful resort. The Friday's website does not do this resort justice, it is even more fabulous in real life. We splashed out and paid for a deluxe suite, I had reservations about paying so much for a hotel in the Phillipines but it was worth it... a very beautiful and extremely large room. But the rooms do not make the resort, it is the perfectly relaxing atmosphere that is given off by its design and by the staff members and off course...the most beautiful location on the most fabulous beach. It is paradise. We have no complaints whatsover, if you want to cry about the relative extra cost then go somewhere else but you will miss out on the Friday's experience.
"Fridays has the best beachfront"

It was our first time in Boracay and we had a wonderful time at Fridays. Simply the best of everything -- beachfront, food & customer service. We had a deluxe villa and the size is roomy for a couple with a child. The entire facility is clean and well-kept. It's a little bit pricey as compared to others, but you won't regret it. You'll get your money's worth...But the next time we'll stay, we'll ask for a room on the 2nd floor. Why? We stayed on the first floor and we could hear the heavy footsteps or may be some kids running around from the 2nd floor...quite annoying but bearable. But other than that, I would say we still had a great time...
